The following is a "fiction story" written by Elizabeth B. Petersen for "Screenland Magazine" and based on the screenplay for Andy Hardy Meets Debutante. The magazine was issued in July of 1940.

Fictionalized stories such as these, based on upcoming films, were popular with readers of the fan magazines of the time, and were popular with the studios (they usually wrote them and sent them out, with the photos) to help drum up interest in their films and stars.
