Beginning in July, The Judy Room began a new look for the homepage. I was looking for something different and unique, and while going through some vintage magazines from the 1940's and 50's, it hit me: "Why not make a 'new' magazine cover for the homepage?". After toying around with the design, I decided that the homepage should look like the cover of a vintage magazine, but with some of "the new" thrown in such as functional "click here" titles where an article title would have been in the 1940's.

The "magazine" will change with each season (Autumn, Winter, etc.) as well as for holidays and special occasions. The image at the right is the current homepage. Look for the new Autumn edition in September!

I thank "Alex in Belgium" for using his amazing PhotoShop abilities to make new vintage looking "colorized" photos for the "magazine".

Expect more unique photos and designs with each season. And yes, the "price" will stay at the affordable 10 cents! ,
