SUMMER STOCK

Summer Stock Judy Garland's last picture for MGM is also one of her most charming. It also includes one of the best numbers she ever committed to film, the glorious "Get Happy." Dressed in the top half of a man's tuxedo, black stockings, and a man's fedora, she's chic and sexy and well, fabulous! Add the dancing boys backing her up and you have a classic example of Judy's performing genius.

The movie co-stars Gene Kelly (their third and last appearance on screen), with support from Phil Silver, Gloria DeHaven, and Eddie Bracken.

Till The Clouds Roll By Judy makes a guest appearance in this all-star biopic about the life and career of Jerome Kern. Judy plays the Ziegfeld superstar Marilyn Miller stealing the film her glowing performance of "Who" and her beautiful rendition of "Look For The Silver Lining". There is a reason for Judy's glow, during the filing of "Who" she was pregnant with Liza!

Ziegfeld FolliesThis is MGM at the height of it's power. The film is an all-star revue, with no plot, presenting together some of the most amazing musical numbers ever filmed. Added to these are comedy sketches and even an Esther Williams water ballet!

Judy gets the chance to show her flair for comedy in the semi-musical sketch "A Great Lady Has An Interview" (aka "Madame Crematante"). She looks amazing, and even gets to rap!
